Candyland Court, Tea Time with Pageant Queen and Fiji Mermaid!Post Six
Do you smell that?, its the smell of Cotton Candy, Fried Dough and Kettle Corn, laced with the sweet fragrance of Jelly Apples, Roated Nuts and Coconut and Penny Dogs, so delicious. I just couldn't resist buying a bag of Cotton Candy puffs from Lara's Sweets on my way to tea.
I wonder where it is?...Oh, now I see it, just follow the signs and the sugar sticks to that glorious and humongous Tea Pot, it must be nearly 10 feet tall and wide.
"Oh, Sage, look at all those sweet and edible jewels and dazzling stars, I also see all of the Soiree Attendees are here, finding their seats and exploring their goodie bags!"
And here she is The Glorious Fiji Mermaid, Zoe! I just had to take loads of pictures of her and her carnival-esque tea outfit!
Here is a dazzling photo of last years Carnival Pageant Winner Corneilia Gatsby, Isn't she just the prettiest ever? I want to win Carnival Queen one day.
Here is a photo of the two belles of the soiree:
Some scrumptious sweets and treats we all munched on sugar sweet pink cupcakes, Lara's Award winning Cotton Candy, which just won the prize for best Cotton Candy at the Carnival.
Notice Lara's Sweet Top Hat, made with floral satin ribbon, flowers and jewels.
Award winning Cotton Candy
This vintage inspired award was handmade with Satin floral ribbon and cardstock, instructions this week.
So much to eat, be inspired by and photograph, and its only 1:30pm....

What an honor it must have been last year for Corneilia Gatsby. I can hardly wait to hear who will be crowned this year. Will it be the Glorious Fiji Mermaid Zoe I wonder? She does look lovely in her carnival accessories and apparel.

I am glad that I dont' have to judge the contenders for this year's title!
I just love this! The pretty dolls, the cotton candy and my favorite: the pig with the cupcakes.
You really did a great job with your Carnival today!
Thanks for giving us all some wonderful fun!
Pink cupcakes and a pig....perfection! It is all a feast for the eyes....
Oh Lisa this is so much fun so far!! I love that little Fiji doll! I won a few prizes with my tokens and will go ride a few carousal rides! I'll be back!!
Those cupcakes are to die for!
Love the Carnival Queens!! And of course, Stel had to have several fried doughs doused in honey (her favorites(we call it fry bread) and a few bags of kettle corn and ooops! I gotta go get her out of a pile of cupcakes!
I want a cupcake....NOW
I don't want to leave all these wonderful goodies. It's so hard not to stuff oneself. It is going to be fun to see who is crowned this year .

Oh I so wish I had know about your wonderful magical carnival before the day of its arrival! I so would have wanted to be included. I can visit anyway!
Well all that sugary goodness made me thirsty, I have to step over to the lemonade booth and refresh myself. When will the Carnival Queen be chosen? Who are the contestants? I do hope they announce it so that I can be there.

I'm not sure who will win Carnival Queen this year, the results aren't all in yet, but I sure did have fun at tea and meeting last years winner and the fiji mermaid as well.
Did you all enjoy the tea and meeting them too, the cupcakes were so yummy!
Magic and Carnival Joy! Lisa!
P.S. If I didn't visit your blog, its because I couldn't get into your blog link, so I'll wish you magic and carnival joy from here!
Oh Fiji mermaid is a gem...we have a lovely mermadi lady here, that almost came to the carnival with us...but she had other plans for the day and was sad not to make it. When I do introduce her, I'll be sure to let you know.
