Here is my new collection of paper dolls (Papierpuppens in German) made from vintage and new crepe paper, tinsel, glass glitter, pure silver glitter and other fun trimmings.

These papierpuppens were inspired by vintage ornaments and dolls from Europe. I absolutely adore the soft colors, tinsel and aged glitter on the vintage dolls and curiosities I have and pondered on a way to make similar ones today.

After much trial and error, I created these this week, they were my first attempts at the dolls. Very little sewing is involved, mostly tacky and hot glue is used to assemble these. I hope you enjoy them as much as I am loving to make them.

I hand made each one of these, they will be available for sale soon or customize your own with a favorite picture. Contact me regarding the custom orders which are $15.00 each.

P.S. I have 15 more that need finishing! I'll upload those next week!
On their way are: The WIcked Witch of the East, The Blue Monkey Queen, Fiji Mermaid Princess, Cupid, Chloe: The Fairytale Angel, Tallie:The Ballerina Mouse, The Snow Queen, Thumbelina, Alice, The Mad Hatter and more!
