3Dimensional ATCS and Scrapbook Paper!
Lullaby ATC! 2
Lullaby ATC!

Here is an 3 dimensional ATC I made using A piece of my new scrapbook paper, this paper is called: Steampunk Fantasy Collection: Peeling Fairytale.

The paper was layered onto 3.5 by 2.5 piece of chipboard with zip dry, fantasy moss w/glitter, vintage millinery, ribbon, vintage velvet, etc.
Lullaby ATC! 5
Lullaby ATC! 6 Above is an up close look at fantasy moss which is natural moss which is coated in glitter flakes.
If you can't find fantasy moss at your local craft store or garden center, then make your own:

Fantasy Moss Recipe:
-Reindeer Natural Moss in color of choice
-Ceiling tile glitter flakes (found in hardware stores near the adhesives or ceiling tiles)
-Spray glue
-Acrylic matte spray sealer
-Wax paper

1. Place moss onto wax paper, with spray glue onto moss.
2. Sprinkle with glitter flakes, tap off excess.
3. Seal glitter in place using spray sealer.

Tips:
-To make spray glue, mix 2 parts glue and 1 part water into a spray can, stir, and its ready to use.
-Use German Silver Glass Glitter instead of flakes.
-Try confetti in place of flakes or glitter.
-Spray paint, dye or bleach your moss for more color options.

Dr.Wambatt's Faerie Collector!
Dr.Wambatt's Faerie Collector! 17
Here is another project using my steampunk faerie paper, the faerie tile paper. These are steampunk faeries turned into a pocket book and faerie box called:
Dr.Wambatt's Faerie Collector!

The one sheet of paper can yield a few projects. I made the steampunk faerie banner, 3 faerie wands and this projects using one sheet of this scrapbook paper!

This project doubles as an accordian folded book, and a box theater! For directions on how to make an atc sized accordian folded book, pick up a copy of my book: Altered Art Circus for directions on how to make it!

Here are some photos of the project!

Here it is closed with the faeries tucked into it, complete with their wands:

This photo shows how I closed it, using 2 metal brads and dmc metallic thread:

This shows the book opened:
Dr.Wambatt's Faerie Collector! 13 The book itself is made from my Apothecary Potion Paper, Aqua grunge luggage paper and left overs from my steampunk faerie paper. The top sections of the book are pockets, which the faeries and their wands slide into.

The Book turned into a Faerie Box/Theatre:

I used Zip Dry to glue the papers together to make the book, I sanded down the edges of the folds and inked/distressed w/Lipstick Ink-Distress Inks-Ranger Ink.

I used Art Glitter on two of the faerie and Antique Silver glitter from Martha Stewart on the other faerie!

Now here is another project you can make using the faeries: Faerie Wands!

Materials:
-Apothecary Potion Scrapbook Paper

Steampunk Fairy Studio Banner!
Directions:
1. First cut out 4 of the faerie squares on the steampunk faerie paper, use this square to trace 3 squares onto the apothecary potion paper, cut.
2. Now measure 12 inches onto ribbon, cut out, you will need 4 strips of 12 inch ribbon, set aside. next cut 6 strips of 2 inch ribbon, set aside.

3. Position your chipboard lettering to spell: FAERIE, each square will get a letter, once you are satisfied with their location, glue in place with kids choice glue, let dry.

4. Next glitter your chipboard letters with German glass glitter using foam tac to hold the glitter, let dry.

5. Assemble your banner, using kids choice glue, start gluing a 12 inch strip of ribbon to the back of the top left corner of your first square which will be a faerie square, letter F, glue a 2 inch square to the top right of that square, glue the other end of the 2 inch ribbon to the top left of the apothecary potion square, letter A, repeat this until all squares are attached and spelled correctly.

6. Attach the other 12 inch strip of ribbon to the last square at the top right. Next tie a bow on each end (at the paper corner) using the remaining 2 strips of 12 inch ribbon.

7. Your banner is ready to hang on your favorite wall, armoire or location of choice.

My papers are sturdy and not flimsy, making it easier to layer onto the paper or stand alone without the worry of crinkling or turning. Each paper has artwork in itself, come in same patterns to use in atc's, card making, etc.

Tips:
-Add some crepe paper to the tops of the squares
-Line the tops with German glitter
-Add Doll heads to the faerie
-Turn into ornaments
-Turn into faerie garland for a tree

My New Scrapbook Paper Line!
Steampunk Fairy Scrapbook Paper

Hot off the press, I picked up 2 huge box samples of the new paper in my new scrapbook lines!

These collections are based on my love for fairy, fantasy, apothecary, storybook, party and dolls. With a grunge/steampunk twist and a sweet shoppe feel for the others. I created coordinating papers for easy layout layering, for card making, atc's, party hats and banners. Create unique designs with each one, use my doll parts and embellishments for extra flare or just place in a frame and hang on the wall. Each of these papers will bring you to a world of pure imagination and solve those magical mysteries!
