Flower Power Tuesday

For this Flower Power Tuesday Post I decided to create a pleated crepe paper flower medallion and topping it off with a smaller crepe paper flower medallion and one of my party girl doll head parts.

These flower medallions can be turned into box or bag toppers, placed on atc's, cds, book covers and banners, use as a party hat topper, cake topper or turn into a fun headband or brooch.

Here are some example projects I created using the double layer crepe paper flower medallions:
The above pictures is an example of how you can decorate a small gift box or jewelry box using a medallion and my party girl doll heads
These pictures are examples of creating pleated flower medallions using metal/foil and embellishing it with another party girl doll head and layering onto a party hat.
Here is an example of using the pleated technique once again with crepe paper to form another medallion which is layered with one of my carnival cupie dolls. Here is another pleated medallion this time using scrapbook paper and a large pom pom for the center.

The New Doll Parts on the Block!


I have been busy creating new doll parts and pieces for my embellishments line, many will be exclusive to My Moonfaires World Website, This Blog and My Piddlestixs Store. I also created value pack collections in a variety of themes: Storybook, Wonderland, Charlotte, Kewpie, Fairy, Birthday Party and Cake Party. These value packs have a savings between 20 % to 40% depending on the value pack.

All the parts in the collection are hand molded, hand pressed, dried, sanded and painted by me for now the only real way I can offer a discount on these pieces are through bulk custom orders, value packs and at the store, my auction and listing sites can only be discounted to a point due to listing fees, etc. However, once these are produced by a manufacturer next year, they will be available in stores.

My parts have been gracing the works of many artists from altered artist to jewelry designers to doll makers and scrapbookers. They are lightweight, and flat back perfect for laying onto surfaces. Some pieces can come rounded for charm making and doll making.

The China Dollies Have Arrived!They are finally here, the China Dollies, now available in my stores. I currently am offering to versions: The Rosie China Doll Style, which has carnation pink hair and The Maude China Doll Style which has the standard black licorice hair. These doll heads are also available un-finished.Each is handmade/molded, doll heads, made from my original vintage China Head Doll, now available for you to use in your works,already painted and glazed.

Each is made from a lightweight foam clay which won't peel, flake or break when dropped.

These are flat backed and lightweight perfect to use on atc's, in paper projects, as paper doll heads, scrapbooks, assemblage, as charms, and more!

They can be extra painted, inked, aged, glittered, easily use a scewer to pierce a hold through, works well with tacky glue, hot glue, caulk, etc.
