A Storybook Circus Party!

I recently was commissioned to create a party set for a customer's party, a 1rst Birthday Party for a little wee girl named: Brooke, set in a whimsical, vintage, yet sweet storybook carnival theme, with lots of sugary colors, a rainbow of circus surprise.The party fare consisted of a set of custom circus follies cake picks, matching toppers, name blocks, and banner. Each piece was handmade with a variety of materials, all to resemble a storybook circus. I further developed some circus follies character designs I already had such as the Ballerina Elephant, the Marionette and the Harlequin clown.I added a few new character designs to the set such as the Circus Pony, Ballerina Bear, Frou Frou Poodle, Party Bird and Sierra the Mermaid, just to name a few.These are just a sampling of some of the items I made for the party, in my next post I will share with you more photos of the cake toppers, the name blocks and the banner that I created for this fabulous and sweet birthday party.

The New Doll Parts on the Block!


I have been busy creating new doll parts and pieces for my embellishments line, many will be exclusive to My Moonfaires World Website, This Blog and My Piddlestixs Store. I also created value pack collections in a variety of themes: Storybook, Wonderland, Charlotte, Kewpie, Fairy, Birthday Party and Cake Party. These value packs have a savings between 20 % to 40% depending on the value pack.

All the parts in the collection are hand molded, hand pressed, dried, sanded and painted by me for now the only real way I can offer a discount on these pieces are through bulk custom orders, value packs and at the store, my auction and listing sites can only be discounted to a point due to listing fees, etc. However, once these are produced by a manufacturer next year, they will be available in stores.

My parts have been gracing the works of many artists from altered artist to jewelry designers to doll makers and scrapbookers. They are lightweight, and flat back perfect for laying onto surfaces. Some pieces can come rounded for charm making and doll making.

The New Girls on the Party Block!

Its official I am now addicted to birthday and sugary sweet style right now! Loving vintage party hats and decorations, cake toppers, cupcake picks, party dolls and more.
All the sugary sweetness or what I have labeled: Cupcake Chic, has taken over my whole design the past 2 years and more so now. I'm creating in pastel shades with mixes of chic dark and cream.

My newest addition to the doll parts and embellishments line are:
The Party Girls and Candy Party Girls! These new parts can really go in different directions. I'm currently working on several examples using these pieces such as charms, jewelry components, scrapbooking, cupcake toppers and banner components. I love the pendant I'm making using the Betsy Partypuff style, vintage rhinestones, crystals, pink beads and more.


These pieces are also getting transformed into cupcake toppers and as the toppers in a birthday rosette banner. I'll share pics of these when complete this week.
