ZNE Convenzione Day Five! Post 6
By Day five of Zne, I was exhausted, but still finding the energy through lots of Starbucks Coffee, I was missing my Dounkin Donuts Coffee at this point, LOL!
Today was the last day of the Convenzione in Pleasanton, which I was sad about, since the next day we would all be leaving our friends and heading home. But I was also excited since this day would be when I signed my books with some fabulous people.On a Foggy Sunday all the vendors and artists returned to the fairgrounds for another day of fun. Today I was signing books and hosted a project near my booth area called: the Silhouette Box Assemblage.Here I am, LOL, Signing!I saw the picture coming, LOL!Jill and Me! She is wonderful!Traci and Me, She rocks!Me, Katie Jean and Yvonne!Patti and Me!Pam, me and Brandie!The Fabulous Diva JenMe, Claire, AnnDenise and Katie!Shoshanah from Hannah Grey and Me!Me, Mom and Yvonne!Gina, Me and Shari, notice the kitty shoes, love them, here are Gina's Kitty shoes and my Butterfly/flower shoes upclose, lol, I love this picture:We took this later on in the evening at Chevy's, LOL, put your best foot foward!Marsha and Yvonne, I bought the book Marsha is holding and Yvonne is holding the wand from me!The ladies of the Silhoutte: left to right: Mica, Jill, Liz, Heidi, Lana and Claire! They came to learn and make my silhouette assemblage, even donating some extra goodies to the project, flowers from Liz, sewn crepe paper from Heidi and vintage papers/advertising from Claire!Liz and Her Box!Heidi's Box!

Each attendee to the Silhouette project would hand assemblage their own rounded box bases, layered with designer papers or vintage book pages, faux bouillion, glitters, trims and silhouettes. I will show examples of these boxes next week!

After the show, a bunch of us went to Chevy's(Jen, Her Hubby, Hollis, Yvonne, Mom, AnnDenise, Gina, Her Hubby, Son and Mica and Me) Today was Mica and I would play our final prank of the weekend on AnnDenise, I told the waiters it was her birthday, lol, and they came out singing w/dessert and a sombrero hat, it was hilarious, I told her she could decorate it with crepe paper and AnnDenise flare, lol! A perfect ending to a wonderful weekend.

Well thanks to airline mix-ups I couldn't visit Wendy Addison's Studio w/Iva and Colleen, but Heidi and her sister went, she has some pictures on her blog, click on Birds of a Feather blog link below. Instead My mom and I hailed 3 trains into the San Fran Airport, and were told due to bad weather around Newark Airport we would be delayed, let's just say I finally walked in my door and to my bed at 3:30am, Eastern Time, LOL! and slept for a day still catching up on sleep, LOL!

ZNE Convenzione Day Four! Post 5
Hello welcome to Day 4 of Convenzione, today we start off with the first day of the vendor faire/arts and paperie at the fairgrounds, not to mention receiving another AMAZING LATTE from Miss Lana, that woman is amazing and I now consider her a wonderful friend, I miss Lana....Here is a photo of Lana and Me!
Here I am at the booth!This is one of my altered sandwich box displays, I finished it that weekend and gave to Ann-Denise Anderson, my buddy!I also finished the pink display box and gave that one to Mica Garabino, and I kept one to bring home. That's the magic of recycling, you can turn normally thrown out items into works of art or fun.
Most of the vendors/atists arrived early to set up, of course I always arrive later then I want, LOL!, I shared a table spot with my mom, who had more goodies to sell then me, I had lost 12 dollies in the flight, but don't worry they have been mended and are now standing perfectly in the studio.

I just love Heidi aka Birds of a Feather, she was my fellow East Coaster at the event!Here is Kathryn Virello and Me! Ingrid surprised me on Sunday with a gift of amazing postcards, I have a surprise going her way next week!Love these girls Mica and Shari, we had a blast! Both are so talented!
Here is where the photos get funnier, Yvonne and her sister Jen gave us all these faux lip blowers to wear and take photos with, too, funny!Here I am in the picture w/snazzy Yvonne now!LOL, here is my buddy Julee and me, how funny is this, we were just cracking up, Julee is amazing!
There were so many fabulous vendors and familiar faces at the show and coming to the show to buy artful delights and see their artist friends, from 11am-1pm we had a book signing for both days, my schedule date was Sunday, along with my friends: Jill Badowski and Traci Bautista! Katie Jean was on hand signing her work as well, all these ladies are AMAZING!The whole day was filled with surprises amond each other, My mom and I would take turns watching the booth and shopping at other booths. LOL! I'd walk over and gather goodies, and put my business card on it and say could you hold this for me, LOL! and I was walking around with single dollar bills and glitter all over me, LOL! My money always has a sparkle to it from the glitter, LOL!

ZNE Convenzione Day Three! Post 4
By day three I was starting to get a bit tired, but everyone's laughter and joy kept me going and re-newed my energy. Today was going to be a big day, breakfast in the morning, workshop all day, event dinner right after, so no time to change into new clothes for dinner, so If I looked scary, lol, that was it! LOL!

AnnDenise, Mica, Ruth and Me scurried down to the lobby to get our shuttle driver and head to Carrow's to meet Lana for breakfast. I'd say for all of us East Coasters, Carrow's is equivilant to The International Pancake House or Perkin's. At Breakfast Lana presented me with the most beautiful gifts, one was an artcard she made with Dresden Trims and the next was a necklace she bought me at Tangerine, a piece made by the amazing Gina Gabriell, Here is a photo of the box it came in, I was wearing at this point, LOL!After breakfast the real fun began, the shuttle forgot all of us at Carrows, Lana had left and went to the workshops, while we had to wait for the shuttle to come get us, since they had our supplies too. Oh I'd say an hour later it showed up, taking us to the fairgrounds to our event, let's say we were late, LOL! It made for some story telling and more laughter.

Today would bring alot of surprise for me, after getting the students supplied and ready to start the: Fairytale Follies Boat Box Class, I needed to un-wind for a second and re-group after a hectic morning. So I walked over to Iva's Class to say hi, here are some pictures of Iva Wilcox, Ann-Denise Anderson, Debrina Pratt and Yours Truly, LOL:

These girls are amazing, once again my table was the loudest one on the block, LOL, when I'm involved be preparred for some laughter, not to mention adding Ann Denise, Jen, Yvonne and Joan, My Mom, who stir the laughter pot, LOL. LOL! Just sitting back to un-wind over dinner, listening to great speakers and sharing stories among each other was what made the day that much more.
