More Custom Baseballs and Cuffs on the Go

Its that time of year when I begin to get ready for Spring Training just like the athletes of MLB do, its this time of year that the sports cuffs get ready for the upcoming baseball season, from many of my MLB and College Team customers. Each order received has a unique flare all its own, representing their team colors, player number or some crazy concocted design, while some just opt for the basic stitching, used/worn look or glamor bling using a statement piece in the center.

When Football season ends, we begin to embrace for the onset of Baseball Season and Tennis Season, with sporatic bursts of Basketball enthusiasm popping in an out of the season. Getting orders in early is recommended as I can get backed up w/producing them.

Each cuff no matter the sport requested is made from authentic game balls, used or played, all hand cut, hand lined, hand stitched and hand embellished from scratch, I've been making these cuffs since 2005 and are original to me, over the years I have incorporated various styles and designs, including dyed leathers and rhinestones.

These cuffs have appeared in numerous magazines and books throughout the country, including the newest publication of Better Homes and Gardens. Every year our client base grows w/specialty and high profile clients, but I still create in the first come first serve fashion no matter what, and all clients are kept confidential.

This year I hope for more expansion of the cuffs and adding more sport fields to the lines. If for any reason your cuff arrives defected or damaged from shipping, please inform me, and ship back so it can be replaced. Keep in mind not everyone's cuff idea works w/these cuffs and not every leather or sports ball grade is the same as the next. I don't recommend a white baseball w/just white stitching, as it will be too plain and sterile, please ask my recommendations if you are trying to figure out the style of your cuff.

-B.Basic Original w/rhinestones: Just the sports leather w/basic stitching, pearling and rhinestone      
 lettering.
-C.Glamor cuff: Just the sports leather w/basic stitching, pearling and rhinestone medalion/pendant
 center (extra bling)

Adding Magical Filters to Photos

 I love the essence of whimsical magic, anything sparkly catches my eye, whether its a glimmering shirt, rhinestone necklace or glittered crown, I'm most likely going to love it, the same comes with jazzing up an ordinary photo.

Photos are the essence of us, they tell a story and help us preserve a moment in time which we can share for generations. Photos also help us inspire others through art and everyday life, along w/progress of ourselves.

When you feel good about yourself or the moment you are capturing behind the lens, it will show right through with a natural magic that can't be beat, but sometimes those moments need some extra jazzing up, a tweek, a little magic.

Nowadays you don't have to be a photoshop pro to enhance your images, all you need are some fun and fast programs available all over the net for free or a minimal cost, which are user friendly, fast, and easy to learn, often within minutes.

For years I have been a paint shop pro fan myself, but today w/the Iphones/apps and online programs I can achieve such great results in minute, whether its tweeking my products and items to sell, artworks, digital creations or photos, added effects make for a more appealing look.

Leather Belt Cuffs aka Buckle Bracelets

I now have available custom belt cuffs aka Buckle Bracelets made using a variety of items, upcycled belts, vintage and new jewelry pieces such as pins, pendants and eclectic findings, brass and metal tags, charms and plates.

All the cuffs are customized to fit your taste and style. All cuffs (pictured above) come with one main med/large rhinestone piece and a few smaller pieces for $35, for extra extra dazzling bling then those cuffs are $45 to 50 (not pictured)

Often I have vintage belts or leather in stock that I can use for the bases of each cuff.

The cuff above is a basic style using a vintage and distressed leather and rhinestone findings, this one is the one I kept for myself, lol, the following are more masculine/unisex cuffs w/no rhinestones or bling and are available for $20 each. All cuffs are normally black or brown in color unless I have other colors or leather textures in stock. Many of the unisex basic cuffs can be enhanced with metal lettered plating or studs, even some heat engraved, perfect for an edgy musician rocker look.Whatever your style or taste these belt cuffs can be customized to fit your style or flare, and are now apart of my sports cuff and leather cuff family of accessories.

A Vintage Pink Christmas

I love the magic of Christmas and all its whimsy, every year I get into a different color scheme, for a few years I did reds, prims, berries, then all tinsel and shiny brite, this year I'm loving pink, pink and more pink. At the office w/decided on blue's, whites and silvers for a snowy, snowman, winter wonderland.

For this post I'd like to share with you a series of ornaments I re-created from vintage ones I have or were inspired be, keeping them in a pink, tinsel theme and making them easy enough to re-create for yourselves.

This first set of ornaments are called: The Fairy Slippers
These ornaments are made from sturdy cardstock, chip board, Dresden: images and scraps, vintage glitter, tinsel and crepe paper, Easy to make!This next set of ornaments are called the Enchanted Dresden Party Cones! Made using a Dresden cone shape, glass pine cone ornament, mercury glass beads, tinsel, Dresden: images and scraps, tinsel, vintage glitter and ribbon.This next set of ornaments are called the Victorian Boot Tussie Mussies, Made with a discarded porcelain china doll leg/boot, crepe, tinsel, mercury glass, Dresden Trims and glitter!In my next ornament post I will share with you 3 more vintage inspired and pink Christmas ornaments that are fun and easy to make, using recycled items you may have around the studio or craft box!

Instant Glam Bracelet Project

The amazing Carmi Cimicata asked me to be apart of this fabulous blog hop, which I was given two products from Instant Glam: Crystal Rocks and Bezels to create a project., I chose to use the two pieces from Instant Glam to incorporate in my popular crystal bracelets, the result, a fun and flirty bracelet with the colors of the sea to add some sun to my cold December.



Materials:
-Beading elastic
-Crystal beads (color of your choice)
-Instant Glam Bezel
-Instant Glam Rocks
-Tools: wire plier and jewelry wire

Directions:
1.Measure your wrist for bracelet size, cut 3 strands of 16 inch beading elastic, thread each strand w/the crystal beads, enough to cover your wrist (thread the elastic through the bracelet strands twice for durability, secure w/tight knot.

2. Glue the instant glam crystal rocks of  your color choice to the instant glam bezel, let dry.

3. Attach the rocked out bezel to the three strands of beads using wire, voila and fun and fabulous bracelet.

Tips:
-Use pre-made bracelets as a base if you aren't too jewelry friendly or want to save time.
