Football Season Starts, Thursday Sept. 5, 2013

This past Thursday marked the official day of Football Season w/the Bronco's vs. the Ravens, which I was lucky enough to witness at Jerome Bettis' Grill 36, across from Heinz Field in the heart of Steelers Country. No trip to Steelers Country would be complete without wearing one of my original football cuffs in Steelers yellow and black, then watching the game on several tv's at local stadium favorite, Grill 36. Everywhere I looked, I was surrounded by yellow and black, this area of the country is so sports oriented, right down to the business colors and fans, they truly love their teams, with extreme team spirit, more so then any area I have been too. However I did see two people at the grill wearing Giants Jersey's and Yankee's Caps, which I just love. This was an historic game, where the one and only Peyton Manning tied the record for 7 touchdown throws, and the first one in NFL history with 6 plus touchdown passes in multiple games, he proved his skill and excellence as a quarter back in this opening game, shutting out last years Superbowl Champs. Although I am an extreme Giants fan, my favorite player is Peyton Manning, thus making his team my back up team if the Giants lose, while I hold respect for the Steelers since I love the city of Pittsburgh and their team spirit. Every time I visit Pittsburgh, I'm there during symbolic times, last was when the Penguins were in the Stanley Cup playoffs, now with opening football day. I hope to get back there again to watch the Steelers play live and to enjoy another Hockey game. Football Season Is Here!

Football Season is here, bringing more color and cheer to our days. Baseball season still going strong, now my second fave sport football is here, love the jersey's the tailgating, the thrill of seeing my fave team play and strive for the ultimate win: Superbowl, which will be hosted in NJ this year.

Football isn't just NFL, its college and all the team spirit that goes with college football, Texas Am, Clemson, Rutgers, Notre Dame, and more, college fans are young and old, they support their alma mater and the players who are grooming for the next step NFL after they graduate.


For me, I am a huge Notre Dame fan, but still support NJ colleges and teams such as Rutgers: Scarlet Knights, my college, Caldwell College doesn't have a football team, but we have a great basketball team, which I also create cuffs for, basketball.

My sports cuffs aren't limited to baseball or football, I create basketball, soccer, volleyball, rodeo, racecar (nascar), tennis, softball, rocker and military, plus several other sports and styles coming everyday.

All my cuffs are made with game played sports balls or new from the box, I have vintage and used in stock as well, colors and themes are no problem, all can be created.

New Cuffs on the Block

Finally here, the newest additions to the Original Sports Cuff Family: Bow Tie Baseball Cuffs, they are an upgrade of our original basic stitched style. These cuffs are made the same way but with handmade/hand stitched matching bow on the top of the cuff.

These cuffs come in 3 styles:
1. Basic stitch and bow
2. Basic stitch, bow and small rhinestone center
3. Basic stitch, bow and larger rhinestone center.

You can also choose a leather color and stitching color as well, so they don't have to be basic white.
In addition to the Bow Tie Baseball Cuff, we have smaller/thinny cuffs which are perfect for guys or girls who prefer a thinner width. We will also have baseball bow tie bracelets, more leather/rocker jewelry and various sport cuffs as well reflecting these new styles.

More Custom Baseballs and Cuffs on the Go

Its that time of year when I begin to get ready for Spring Training just like the athletes of MLB do, its this time of year that the sports cuffs get ready for the upcoming baseball season, from many of my MLB and College Team customers. Each order received has a unique flare all its own, representing their team colors, player number or some crazy concocted design, while some just opt for the basic stitching, used/worn look or glamor bling using a statement piece in the center.

When Football season ends, we begin to embrace for the onset of Baseball Season and Tennis Season, with sporatic bursts of Basketball enthusiasm popping in an out of the season. Getting orders in early is recommended as I can get backed up w/producing them.

Each cuff no matter the sport requested is made from authentic game balls, used or played, all hand cut, hand lined, hand stitched and hand embellished from scratch, I've been making these cuffs since 2005 and are original to me, over the years I have incorporated various styles and designs, including dyed leathers and rhinestones.

These cuffs have appeared in numerous magazines and books throughout the country, including the newest publication of Better Homes and Gardens. Every year our client base grows w/specialty and high profile clients, but I still create in the first come first serve fashion no matter what, and all clients are kept confidential.

This year I hope for more expansion of the cuffs and adding more sport fields to the lines. If for any reason your cuff arrives defected or damaged from shipping, please inform me, and ship back so it can be replaced. Keep in mind not everyone's cuff idea works w/these cuffs and not every leather or sports ball grade is the same as the next. I don't recommend a white baseball w/just white stitching, as it will be too plain and sterile, please ask my recommendations if you are trying to figure out the style of your cuff.

 lettering.
