CHA Day 3: Zutter! 3
No. 18, the fabulous Zutter! I was blown away by the easy and precision of their zutter brand of products, their cutting and binding system just cuts hours of time out of your day, especially when creating a bevy of books that need to be punch and binded.

Even the staff at Zutter was extremely helpful, informative and nice, which makes loving their products even more! Here take a look:
CHA Day 3: Zutter!CHA Day 3: Zutter! 2CHA Day 3: Zutter! 5CHA Day 3: Zutter! 6The above photo's show the quick demo I received on punching the holes through the masonite and the binding, so quick and easy, making them one of my top fave companies for this years's CHA.

Next in line is no. 19, Walter Kunze Dresden's. Okay need I say anymore then the name: DRESDEN, if you are a vintage art fan, then you are drooling like me, and if you love Dresden then you will love all their products, including the costume sized full Dresden Crowns, Tiara's and Fairy/Angel Wings. OMG, love them all, Here take a sneak peak:

Fabulous right? And that's why they made it into my top CHA Winter 2012 list....

Now our final no. 20, Globe Craft Memories are the creators behind the craft domes aka Chipboard Bubble Frames, which are like captured jar fairy bases or the vintage style Victorian glass bubble frames, mini vignettes for assemblage and paper. I was first introduced to this company a year ago, and as soon as I saw these fab bubble craft domes, I was instantly in love.

At CHA this year, Globe Craft were one of the manufacturers who sponsored the designer showcase that I took part in, when I received my supplies from them, I nearly fainted, love, love and love these domes, the possibilities are endless and well let's just say I am craft bubble doming away, lol! Take a look at the project I made for the 3-d portion of the designer showcase using their fun domes and dome enclosures which are made from a good quality chipboard:

so my top 25 actually becomes the top 20 list. I am so loving the new Smooches: Smooch Glitz, up until the designer showcase that I took part in for CHA, I had never had the chance to try smooches in my works, as part of the designer showcase, clearsnap sent me Smooches, colorbox inks and mixed media inks by Donna Salazar and I fell in love with all three products. I have used colorbox inks before, but this was my first trying smooches and the mixed media inks, which I now can't live without in my projects.CHA Day 1! Colorbox! The mixed media inks have such a nice rich pigment and a wonderful consistency, so easy to work with. The products in my Lisa Kettell Designs embellishments line take really well to the mixed media inks and the smooches, here is a project I created when I got back from CHA using the colorbox inks, mixed media inks, smooches, Lisa Kettell Designs: Bailey Style embellishment and steampunk paper, along with other industry products! no.7 on my list is: Plaid, one of my new favorite companies, as I used tons of Modge Podge in my projects from my book: Altered Art Circus...Every year I look forward to what Plaid is doing and I always get to see what fun project that Cathi and Steve have come up with, this year I nearly fell over.CHA Day 2! Me and Steve! 2CHA Day 2! Steve and Mom! We made collage shapes from the new podgeable shape cuts outs ranging from fabulous birds to royal crowns. I choose the crown of course, then decaupaged it with vintage style papers they had. Cathi had turned one of hers into a necklace http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif, so I decided to hold onto my piece so I could go home, pierce 2 holes on the sides, http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifadd some rhinestones and a chain to wear as a royal necklace. The photo above shows Cathi wearing her necklace... ( I borrowed the above podgeables picture from Cathi and Steve's blog)These new podgeable blanks are my favorite and modge podge, well to me, its always re-inventing itself, so it has to be another fave product of mine at the show, they have from matte, to gloss, to glitter to glow in the dark varieties, always something to choose from for your collage projects! Another great product I was introduced to actually last year are the Hot Glue Gun Helpers which have been a valuable asset to my hot glue gun, I no longer have glue gun burns because of this fab product, check it out here:http://www.etsy.com/shop/hotgluegunhelpershttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif
