Friends, Nu-Skin, My Life Changed For Ever!
Nu-Skin! Mom, Ian, Me and Kat!
It all started that one day, when my Mother walked me the the entrance of Hazel Avenue Elementary School, I was 4 1/2 years old and met Katerina, one of my longest and dearest friends in the world. Each year we grew we created a new adventure one of my fondest was our mermaid stories and adventures, I still have the mermaid she brought me back from Greece, pictures of our brownie and girl scout days and party memories. Fast forward some 30 years later and Katerina and I are still friends going strong, two kindred spirits involving art, culture, theater and beauty into our lives.Nu-Skin! Me and Ian!
Recently Katerina invited me to be apart of a whole new experience, that would change my life forever. Many of you who know me, have always commented on my skin, my clear complexion or the youthfulness of it. I have never used expensive creams or products on my face, just some cold cream to wash off my make-up, olive oil once a week and ice pack to take out puffy eyes, that's about it. I do love make-up and wear concealer, foundation, bronze brush, mascara, and lipstick, but after my experiences yesterday, my life has changed forever, let me explain.Nu-Skin! Kat and Momma!Nu-Skin! Me and Kat, Friends Forever! After spending a the day with Katerina, Nu-Skin/Ageloc Specialists, Ian Ziering and Friends I was introduced to a whole new way of ageless beauty without the use of heavy chemicals or surgery. Your skin is a whole other world, every day you hear of a new product on the market which is going to knock off years off your skin, products which quote on quote will improve your appearance, bring back your youth, I have seen and heard it all, but yesterday, I was transformed, living proof that their are products that work.Nu-Skin! Rich, Ileane and KatFor the past year I have been under a lot of stress, most recently the month of February, from work, to finance, to my store, my relationship, my life had seemed so heavy, stress is a genuine killer of your health and your appearance, pain can be seen in your eyes, dark circles, headaches, and heavy skin, a woman especially will begin to pull their self apart, that's when the notion of feeling, old, un-attractive, washed up sets in, because we allowed the stress to set in and win, but I will not let it win or defeat me, I will conquer and overcome, so yesterday came to me like a magical dream, only it was real.Nu-Skin! Ileane and Ian's Cousin!During the Presentation, MeI learned about my body, my genetics, nutrition and more. I was introduced to the Nu-Skin line with much emphasis on my new never leave anywhere without: Ageloc Galvanic Spa System/Anti-Aging Master. If you know me I never discuss products which I don't have a passion for or believe in, why, because you all believe in me, you reach out to me all the time for recommendations on everything, so trust me on this, you will love me for it.

After a day of insight and production, of age variables it was my turn to be transformed. Now everyone's skin is going to produce its own result, these factors are based on a lot of different variables, but mine was extremely drastic. Beth who works in the world of the communication world, started the first miracle, she used the Ageloc Galvanic Spa Tool on half of my face, after 5 minutes, I looked in the mirror and the entire left side of my face, drastically transformed, it shrunk and lifted so noticeably that we were all astonished. Literally It pulled in any wrinkles or bloated skin, shrunk my dark circles and probably shaved 5-10 years off my age, well Ileane, Ian and Katerina said wow, we need to balance the other side of your face, lol, so I worked with Beth and we made me even.Nu-Skin! 4
That is how un-believable this product is, this has never happened to me. Literally after the one side was complete, I felt as if I had a stroke, half my face had a permanent smile, a lift, re-vitalized, the other old, heavy and numb. Once my whole face evened out I was lifted, I felt like 17 again. I didn't even have to put any foundation on my skin, it was even and no blotchy skin, I was glowing according to several people last night.Nu-Skin! 2The Ageloc Galvanic Spa System II is more then a spa at home, its a portable device which can give you an uplift at anytime with the use of its facial gels and components. It will diminish the harshness of lines, wrinkles, it uplifts your face and helps it to regain the vitality of younger skin. This device also works to shape the body using specific body shaping gels which can reduce the appearance of cellulite, and under arm flab, so you aren't waving in the wind, lol. I haven't tried it for these additional areas, but I am and will get back to you on those results.

Men if you have thin or thinning hair, this product can help increase your hair's appearance, bringing back its lustrous vitality. But of course bad eating habits, heavy drinking and smoking don't help, its the whole package, plenty of water, vegetables and correct foods all work together to help your health, so please don't play the genetics card, you can change that and make your life what you want it to be.

There are so many additional products from Nu-Skin, such as the Pharmanex Biophotonic Scanner which can determine your antioxidant status and has won the prestigious Stevie Award. The LifePack-Nano, Vitamins, Superfruit drinks with Lipocarotenes, make-up foundations and more. As I try these additional products I will let you know how they work for me, I can't wait to try.Nu-Skin! Me and Ian!
I want to Thank Katerina Zachos, Ileane Grossman Frank, Ian Ziering and the many others for changing my life in such a positive and uplifting way. Each of them brought me back to the Lisa I once knew, the one who used to take care of herself, the strength that can be found within when you love yourself, love who you are, then you can conquer anything.

If you would like information on these products, learn how to purchase them, and more, please contact me and I will help you!

Love You All,
Thank You for sharing in my joy and stay tuned for some exciting things to come!
xoxo
Lisa!

Its Summer, Try Something Different: a new art form, food and more!Steps To Fairyland 2Its Officially Summer, Is there something you wanted to try last summer or in general, perhaps a new art form or technique, a new recipe or food. Did you want to color your hair or try a new clothing style, then try it now, you have a whole summer to embark on a new adventure of ideas and inspiration.

Some idea's to ponder:
1. Try a nice refreshing old fashioned Rootbeer Float, a cherry soda float straight from the soda fountain w/cherry syrup and soda fizz.

2. Do you always wear darker colors, try on some brighter and cheerful summer colors, or add some sparkle and glam with a bevy of rhinestone jewelry or some of your own handmade artful jewelry and make a cool statement.Delilah's Curiosity shoppe
3. How about learning to knit, crochet or tatt, perhaps take that course you have been wanting to take on the art form of your choice.

4. What about reading a new novel while at the beach drinking a pina colada and soaking in the warm summer sun.

5. Maybe you always wanted to try fishing or camping, now is the time to do it, bring a seafood recipe and camping cookbook with you or turn your camping excursion into an exploration, bring a tent, a safari hat, some linens, moroccan anterns, a carpet and have a whole new experience of the outdoors.A Wonderland House!6. Try a new food or prepare a recipe you always wanted to make. What about lemon lavender cupcakes, an edible flower salad, baked figs w/cheese, Tandoori Chicken, Thai Green Curry Chicken or Peanut Butter and Garlic Spareribs, these are something cool to try.

7. Ever go searching for sea shells after a storm or renting a metal detector and combing the beach, Geo Tracking Devices can start you on a treasure hunting experience!A Wizard Tea Shoppe

8. Is there a historic place you always wanted to visit or a museum you have been wanting to explore, then do it.
Fairy In My Garden!Rose in my Garden!
9. Perhaps for a few years you have been wanting to re-vamp your garden, add a trellis, roses and a garden ornament, maybe re-configure your yard, wait for some sun and start that project.Secret Fairy Garden!

10. Been wanting to try your hand at attending a garage or yard sale, don't wait for someone to go with you, just go and find those vintage finds, but grab a cup of coffee and some single dollars before you go.

11. What about taking the leap of faith and painting a spare room a bold color, branching out of your color comfort zone, bringing to life those ideas whirling around in your head.

12. Volunteer somewhere for the day, and feel good about helping others, help out at a funraiser or take a walk to help in the fight against the many diseases out there, or just show support for a friend, loved one or stranger who might need your help.

13. Love amusement parks? Want to feel like a kid again, head out to one, eat kettle corn, cotton candy, funnel cakes or ice cream, ride the carousel, roller coaster and ferris wheel, feel the excitementFairyland Falls
14. Hate bathing suits, but love the beach? Just grab that long sarang or maxi dress, pack a bag with a towel, a book, sun block, snacks and just do it, grab a friend go to the beach early during the week and relax reading a book, searching for shells, followed by a trip to the boardwalk for some fun, you don't need a bathing suit to do that.A Fairy Chair
15. Go to the library and walk to your favorite section, close your eyes and let your heart pick a book, open your eyes up and choose that book, read it and enjoy, try something new.

By trying something new you are fueling your craving for adventure, an exhilarating feeling, a surge of energy, an awakening, a challenge to get out of your comfort zone, trying something new will open your mind to new things, leading to new ideas, a belief in yourself, to conquer your goals and over come your fears.

I hope you enjoy the photographs I took from my travels which I added some more color and magic too, they are altered a bit from the originals to show the variation and different interpretations, I hope you enjoy them and get energized to try something new this summer.

A Sunday in New York, Part Deux!
The Carousel of Bryant Park!

Bryant Park Carousel! 10I love love love the magic of a carousel, it can just sweep you away into another world, a storybook place from long ago, as gracefully glide up and down and all around while listening to sweet melodies reminiscent of the carnival, circus or seaside boardwalk, perhaps a picturesque park or fairgrounds in Europe. Carousels are crafted from the finest artists with unique and eccentric details, made from wood, metal, brass, porcelain and fiber glass, each one setting the stage for a new performance every few minutes.Bryant Park Carousel! 5Some Carousels have all horses, some have Horses, animals with fins and well seahorses, sirens, rabbits, even fairies, pegases, unicorns and birds. Some have an underwater fantasy theme, others a circus theme, fairy garden or royal theme, there are no limits in the creation of one, but one rule, it must bring delight to all. Bryant Park Carousel and Me!Now not every carousel is going to be in a covered tent, under a canopy, inside a carousel hall, ultra large, colorful and bright, some are smaller in size with muted vintage colors, just like my fave carousel located in Bryant Park, NYC!http://www.bryantpark.org/amenities/carrousel.php Bryant Park Carousel!Bryant Park Carousel! 3This carousel is called: "Le Carrousel" and made by the Fabricon Carousel Co., Inc. Brooklyn, NY circa 2002, This might be a newer piece, but it has been made in the vintage and timeless style of the originals, the colors, the fantasy theme, its beautiful, I could see this on a park grounds during the Victorian Age, or in Coney Island's: Dreamland Park or Luna Park, couldn't you?Bryant Park Carousel! 7This beautiful horse is called: "Granny's Folly", Isn't she a beauty, look at the details!Bryant Park Carousel! 8If I wasn't so tired from strolling around the BEA (Book Expo America) and from Glenny and I taking turns lugging a heavy book bag, we probably would have lingered longer in Bryant Park and I might have rode the Carousel, but I can always head back anytime and do that, LOL, but trust me, I was thinking it, so instead I took loads of pictures to remember the moment and share with all of you.Bryant Park Carousel! 11Bryant Park Carousel! 9This rabbit is my fave carousel friend and would probably be where I sit when I go on the Carousel, LOL!.Bryant Park Carousel! 2Bryant Park Carousel! 4Bryant Park Carousel! 6Even the Ticket Booth is too cute!
No trip to Bryant Park would be complete with out A. A snack from Wichcraft Cafe http://wichcraftnyc.com/ Bryant Park Cafe!B. A cupcake from Crumbs, or C. A lunch or dinner at The Bryant Park Grill, which is one of my fave restaurant. http://www.arkrestaurants.com/

Bryant Park Grill, NYC!Here is a photo I took of the Bryant Park Grill!Bryant Park, Seating Terrace! The whole park has a French and European Design, which is why I love it so much, its such a great place to visit all year, but especially from Spring through Fall, even to just grab a coffee or tea and sit down on one of the many benches, park chairs or by the beautiful fountain and just relax and envision beautiful days and endless magic!
http://www.bryantpark.org/
Bryant Park Balcony!Bryant Park Fountain! 3Bryant Park Fountain!2In exploring the park, you will also come upon the glorious and ornate fountain, however this fountain is more then just a beautiful facade, it was designed by the famed architect Charles A. Platt who created this fountain to commemorate social worker/reformer Josephine Shaw Lowell. Shaw, born 1843, is said to be one of the first woman to be honored with a major monument in New York City, after her death in 1905, this is probably due to the fact that Josephine Shaw Lowell she was the first female member of the New York State Board of Charities, serving the years, 1876 to 1889.

The fountain has a 32-foot-wide lower basin and 13-foot-wide upper basin, was installed at the east side of Bryant Park in 1913, then in 1936 the fountain was moved to the west side of Bryant Park, where it resides today. In 1992, this glorious
fountain was restored/refurbished by the Bryant Park Restoration Corporation and I believe is a must see in the park.Bryant Park Fountain!Bryant Park Fountain! 4Bryant Park VaseNo matter where you look, you will definately be transformed to another place, even if only for a moment, just sit back and illustrate this world in your mind, create a new memory that will bring you magic and joy, that you can come back and visit over and over again.

This Parisian-esque park is located:
