The Carnival is Coming........To Town.......
In just one more day, the magic of the Carnival will come alive at the first annual Carnival Soiree held right here on my fairgrounds just beyond Hollow Moon Creek. To get here take the Oliver Wertzel Parkway North to Exit 23 follow bend, stay right go straight 5 miles on Bernards Road (Rt. 303), make a right on Peapack Lane, go 3 miles till you start to smell the kettle corn and cotton candy, hear the carousel symphonies and see the rainbow colors and glowing lights of The Carnival.
If you are attending the grande and elite Carnival Soiree, the party begins on Saturday morning and ends when the music slows down. As your Lioness of the day, I will have carnival posts filled with ephemera, circus projects, stories and images of The Carnival Soiree and the magic of the day. There will also be posts located on the new blog: The Carnival Soiree as well as here. I will have several giveaways and every carnival attendee who has signed up for the soiree, will receive a free digital collage sheet with a carnival/circus theme, which I will email to you on monday! This is my gift to you, for joining the party, after all no guest should leave without a gift, don't you agree?......................

Story of the picture above:
Thumping on the ground, sand blowing around, sweet smells of kettle corn and cotton candy filling the air, posters appearing on everyone corner and barn, lights glowing along the horizon causing a sprinkle or two of magic dust to swirl around. Lions are roaring and Side Show Queens are primping, What can this be? There is no other explanation, it must be that the Circus is coming to town.
Pictured here are the Bamwerger and Lacey Girls, anxiously standing outside Cornwall Barn, waiting for Circus Train to drive by on its way to Hadley Field 3 miles away, where it will stay for two full weeks!
