First Night ZNE in Pleasanton Continued, Post Two!
Here is a photo of Mom and Me at the Gallery Studio7, our first night at ZNE and in Pleasanton. The following are more photos inside the gallery! Here I am in the Gallery near a fabulous artists work, I just enjoyed these illustrations, and forgot to buy his book while I was there, that's now on my to do list. incredible.Me, Ula and RuthHere is a photo of Me and Iva, I love this one, its glowing too.Me and Chel, notice my Starbuck's Coffee, so happy I had coffee that day!LOLJill, Me and Brandy! The Amazing John Troast performing, he is incredible. After John Performed, A few of us headed over to American Harvest, such an amazing store, located a few shops down from the gallery in downtown Pleasanton.Pleasanton is BEAUTIFUL and so serene, I was taking pictures of the streets, the trees both the flowery ones and the warm palms, main street is similar to a street in Ocean Grove, NJ, or New Hope, minus the Palm Trees, Anyone who knows me knows I love taking pictures, lol, of everything. When I go some where I like to remember my adventure and photographing the elements and my surroundings helps me to do that, hence forth the Gumball Machines with doggy treats, I just had to photograph these, especially since I bought a 1950's gumball machine 2 weeks ago at a local rummage sale, its red and black wrought iron and stands 4 feet tall. LOL! I eventually made my way to the amazing American Harvest pictured here: American Harvest http://www.americanharvestinc.com/ http://americanharvest.typepad.com/ gave attendees and instructors a gift voucher to redeem at their store and so glad they did I spent that voucher and much much more on wonderful goodies, I think we all did, we had to be there at least an hour lookinh through all the wonderful treasures housed inside this shop. Here is a sneak peak inside:I almost bought this dainty purse, it was sooo vintage chic.I so love these, don't you?Miss Jill and Me!Here is a photo of my dream crown and glassware, I loveeee this picture of goodies.Me and my dream crown, I love this picture, I feel so regal, LOL!Here is a picture of Me, AnnDenise and Mica, love these girls, Miss them soooo much already. Our first night was filled with laughter and fun, which smoothed out the bumpy start. When we got back to the hotel, Mica brought over some of her amazing pieces:Look at Mica's dolls, how can you pick just one, Miss Ruth, I miss her too, bought the one on the right called: Happy and I got this one: Sweet Serendipity, it is possibly one of my favorite dolls ever, I carried her back home to NJ with much care, she is truly magical, here she is Sweet Serendipity:This doll means alot to me, Serendipity is what Ann-Denise and I call our first encounter and Mica made it, plus it has traveled from Southern California to Pleasanton and straight to New Jersey.
Stay tuned for post 3, our 2nd day/ 1rst day of classes in Pleasanton. In the meantime take a moment and visit these fabulous art blogs of wonderful and amazing people, plus visit these extraordinary shops in Pleasanton:
