After John Performed, A few of us headed over to American Harvest, such an amazing store, located a few shops down from the gallery in downtown Pleasanton.Downtown Pleasanton!Downtown Pleasanton! 5Pleasanton is BEAUTIFUL and so serene, I was taking pictures of the streets, the trees both the flowery ones and the warm palms, main street is similar to a street in Ocean Grove, NJ, or New Hope, minus the Palm Trees,Downtown Pleasanton! 4 Anyone who knows me knows I love taking pictures, lol, of everything. When I go some where I like to remember my adventure and photographing the elements and my surroundings helps me to do that, hence forth the Gumball Machines with doggy treats, I just had to photograph these, especially since I bought a 1950's gumball machine 2 weeks ago at a local rummage sale, its red and black wrought iron and stands 4 feet tall. LOL! I eventually made my way to the amazing American Harvest pictured here: Downtown Pleasanton! 9American Harvest http://www.americanharvestinc.com/ http://americanharvest.typepad.com/ gave attendees and instructors a gift voucher to redeem at their store and so glad they did I spent that voucher and much much more on wonderful goodies, I think we all did, we had to be there at least an hour lookinh through all the wonderful treasures housed inside this shop. Here is a sneak peak inside:American Harvest! 2American Harvest! 3I almost bought this dainty purse, it was sooo vintage chic.American Harvest! 4I so love these, don't you?American Harvest! When we got back to the hotel, Mica brought over some of her amazing pieces:Goodies by Mica aka GarboodlesLook at Mica's dolls, how can you pick just one, Miss Ruth, I miss her too, bought the one on the right called: Happy and I got this one: Sweet Serendipity, it is possibly one of my favorite dolls ever, I carried her back home to NJ with much care, she is truly magical, here she is Sweet Serendipity:Sweet Serendipity by Mica aka Garboodles! This doll means alot to me, Serendipity is what Ann-Denise and I call our first encounter and Mica made it, plus it has traveled from Southern California to Pleasanton and straight to New Jersey.
