My swap pieces for my swap partners!
Let Them Eat Cake Swap
This piece is for the Let Them Eat Cake Swap, hosted by Stink Bone Jones, This piece is my take on Marie Antoinette, I wanted to create something different for my swap partner Tender Arts
For this swap I didn't want to do the usual flower, ribbon and tulle look, but something more original with folk art/prim doll/cupcake sweet tones in it!
I started out years ago making paper mache/paper clay and fabric primitive/folk art dolls and have seem to have gotten away from that lately. I still have a few of those dolls left from past shows. I had made a mermaid wizard, a lady bug princess and bunny bee queen several years back, I kept the lady bug princess, LOL!
To accompany the box, I made and stuffed it with a bunch of goodies, rhinestone frame, sweet pink and Marie-esque feather wands, papers, Marie Ring and other goodies!
Take a visit to Tender Arts/Bettsi's Blog to see just how talented she is:

I love all these pieces - but the hat would be a fab birthday hat - a fun way to celebrate that special day.
